Australia

Sydney   is the biggest town of  Australia but not the capital. It has the famous Opera House which looks like an old sailing ship. There are sandy beaches, for example Bondai beach. If  you go north you´ll reach Brisbane another holiday resort for surfers. Not far away you can find eucalyptus trees and koalas with their babies. Underwater you see the Great Barrier Reef the largest coral reef in the world which is bigger that Great Britain. Fish of all shapes, sizes and colours live here. Going inside there is the tropical rainforest. It is getting warmer and warmer and every day there are tropical rainstorms. Next you arrive Darwin. It is the first city after houndreds of kilometres. The next state is Western Australia. The Aborigines live in the outback, the desert with endless dust. The “Royal Flying Doctor Service” helps sick and injured people. Slowly moving through the water the “salty” is the largest and most dangerous crocodile. The red heart of Australia Uluru or Ayers Rock is 1,500 km away somewhere in the outback. On and on you go, close to the coast, far away you see the skyscrapers of Perth. On the left some cliffs and ending at the edge of them the dog fence was built to keep wild dogs – the dingos – off the sheep stations. You go on … far away on your right is Tasmania and on your left the city of Melburne. And somewhere inland must be the capital of Australia, Canberra.
